This is our mood board for the Fred Hersch Trio. When making this board we were thinking about a couple key words, inviting, emotional, traditional but innovative at the same time, open, variety, and many more. Fred Hersch was inspired by the height of jazz and is also sometimes compared to jazz greats such as Duke Ellington, Louis Armstrong, and many others.
The color palette is mostly warm but with some lighter elements and come complimentary blue. This tone of colors is inviting, warm, and emotional for many. His music is amazing but not in your face, it is hard to ignore but subtle and not annoying.
The wood grain represents the flow of his music and how sometimes the grain is smooth and even and sometimes it takes a u turn and creates new gaps and rivers. Hersch's music varies from soft and slow to loud and fast.
